Our Team

The people who answer when you call, all working together in our Evansville office.

Brian F. Ricci, P.E., President and Founder

Brian F. Ricci, P.E.

President and Founder

Brian founded Pinnacle Computer Services in 1988 and has led it ever since. He is a licensed Professional Engineer with a degree in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and began his career in engineering at Black Beauty Coal before turning to business technology.

That engineering background shapes how Pinnacle works: systems are designed before they are sold, quotes are complete, and the work is documented. Brian built Pinnacle’s Dell Technologies partnership, which has made it the only Dell Technologies Gold Partner in the tri-state area, along with its relationships with Microsoft and Palo Alto Networks. He remains closely involved in infrastructure design, from Dell PowerStore and PowerEdge deployments to disaster recovery sites. He also serves on the board of the Carver Community Organization in Evansville.

Steven Ricci

Vice President of Operations

Steven has worked at Pinnacle full time since 2018, after spending four summers here as a student. He leads Pinnacle’s technical service delivery across every line of business. The service desk, operations and co-managed teams report through him, and he is the escalation point when a client issue needs senior attention. He manages project and installation delivery for managed, co-managed and professional services clients, from planning and scope through to completion.

Steven drives Pinnacle’s standard operating procedures and automation. As the company’s Rewst champion, he approves and prioritizes the automation that removes repetitive work from the service desk. He oversees the platforms the team runs every day, including Microsoft 365, Teams Phone, Intune, Azure, Entra, Huntress and Palo Alto, manages Microsoft licensing for clients, and team metrics that keep service consistent.

Steven Groves

Systems Engineer

Steven joined Pinnacle in May 2025 and manages its technical team day to day, bringing more than 20 years of IT leadership to client environments. Before Pinnacle he was IT Manager for Black Equipment Company, running IT for 11 branches and 300 users, including Microsoft 365 and Teams voice, mobile device management, service desk operations and acquisition integration.

Earlier he was Global Contracts and Software License Manager at Mead Johnson Nutrition, working in a regulated environment and negotiating Microsoft Enterprise Agreements, and for ten years he owned and ran Binary IT Solutions, a managed services provider serving healthcare, education and legal clients. At Pinnacle he co-leads VMware to Hyper-V migrations and works on Dell PowerStore storage projects.

John “Jack” Snyder

Operations Manager

Jack has been with Pinnacle for four years and works alongside Steven Ricci running its operations. He handles complex escalations for managed and co-managed clients and leads technical discovery and onboarding for new clients, investigating each environment on site so the transition is planned rather than improvised.

Jack is the author of many of the standard operating procedures the service desk relies on, covering multifactor authentication, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 backup, and tools such as CIPP, our RMM platform and Huntress. His expertise in Intune, Entra and SharePoint underpins how Pinnacle standardizes client environments, and he supports client networks, firewalls and project deployments at the senior level.

Tonya Hanson

Office Manager and Human Resources

Tonya has been with Pinnacle for more than 20 years and runs the business side of the company. She manages the office, human resources and client billing, so when a client has a question about an invoice or an account, she is the person who answers it. She also manages Pinnacle’s insurance and banking relationships.

Tonya is a director of Pinnacle and serves as its corporate secretary, keeping the company’s records. On our larger contracts she handles the administrative work clients depend on, from insurance certificates to bonding. Outside the office she volunteers her time scanning documents for Honor Flights of Southern Indiana.

Kalynn Lenfers

Strategic Account Manager

Kalynn has been with Pinnacle for eight years and is the long-standing point of contact for many of its clients. She owns account relationships, renewals and commercial details, and makes sure each client’s priorities reach the right people on the technical team.

Kalynn holds the full Dell Technologies sales credential track and assembles Pinnacle’s proposals and quotes, including complex public-sector responses. She came to Pinnacle from the financial-services industry, and brings that discipline for accuracy and follow-through to every account.
